Delete your Redish account

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Redish and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings or Account controls. Account controls is available during onboarding and on the paywall without a subscription.
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Read the confirmation and confirm Delete account.

This permanently removes your Redish account, name, profile photo, food preferences, allergy flags, scan history, generated recipes, and saved recipes, including their food-photo previews. The action cannot be undone.

If the app is unavailable

Deleting the app alone does not delete the account. Reinstall Redish, sign in, and use the in-app deletion control, or contact support for help. Do not send your password or payment details.

Subscriptions are managed separately

Deleting your Redish account does not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in the relevant store’s subscription settings to prevent future renewal charges. For iOS, use Apple’s subscription settings.

Service-provider records and prior AI requests

Account deletion does not automatically erase billing, security, or service-provider records retained under their applicable policies. It cannot recall a request already sent to an AI provider. OpenAI abuse-monitoring logs may retain prompts and responses for up to 30 days unless different approved controls apply or longer retention is legally or safety-required.

AI permission without deleting your account

You can withdraw AI permission in Settings or Account controls. This prevents new AI requests but cannot recall a request already sent. It does not delete your saved account data.
